Easy Dairy Free Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Finding dairy free chocolate treats made from clean ingredients that taste delicious can be difficult. Finding mousse recipes that fit that criteria can be even more difficult. Therefore, I created this nutrient rich and delicious chocolate mousse recipe made from only four wholesome ingredients.
Coconut yogurt is the base ingredient for this mousse recipe and is the most essential. I generally use Harmless Harvest’s plan and unsweetened coconut yogurt. This yogurt has a macro and ingredient profile that I personally like, and it is fairly cost efficient. I’ve also tried using CocoYo’s vanilla and plain yogurt which is another yogurt that I love and works well with this recipe.
This chocolate mousse can be eaten for breakfast, as a snack, or as a dessert. You can switch up the toppings for your flavor profile as well. My favorite toppings are cacao nibs, honey, bee pollen, hemp seeds, flaxseeds, and nuts.

¾ cup plain & unsweetened Harmless Harvest coconut Yogurt
3 tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder
½ scoop Vital Proteins gelatin powder
